NEWS, REVIEWS & UPDATES

  • “There are some glorious numbers in this production, but I’m not sure I’ve ever seen anything quite as stunning as the dream ballet performed by Dubuc and Colton Curtis, as Older Billy. Feore’s choreography and the dancers’ talent elevate this number to new heights (literally).”

  • “...a wonderful pas de deux between Billy and his older self (Colton Curtis)”

  • “Still, the musical highlight most certainly had to be the excerpt from Tchaikovsky’s Swan Lake, ...(and Colton Curtis’ exemplary balletic acumen and form).”

  • “But, at the same time, the show’s creators seemingly can’t resist any urge to yank on the heartstrings, hard. There is a beautiful dream ballet that Billy dances with his older imagined self (Colton Curtis).”

  • “jaw-dropping “Seventy-Six Trombones” far outshines the version seen in the most recent Broadway revival”

  • Broadway World Toronto award winners announced - A CHORUS LINE at Stratford Festival wins big! Best Performance by a Male in a Featured Role (Musical - Equity)

Colton Curtis - A Chorus Line - Stratford Festival

  • “Colton Curtis is almost as funny and even more endearing as Mark, the youngest dancer. With great flair, he shares a story about having his first wet dream – and becoming convinced that he had gonorrhea after looking up “milky discharge” in a medical textbook.”

  • “Several other performers show off triple-threat qualities and shine. As Mark, Colton Curtis’s account of his teenage confusions is totally winning.”

  • “Colton Curtis as Mark, the ensemble’s youngest dancer, exudes boyish charm as he recounts his first confusing experience with a wet dream during “Hello Twelve, Hello Thirteen, Hello Love,” a group song exploring adolescent sexuality.”
